North Country HealthCare, Inc. Notice to Contractors of Intent to Receive Proposal and Qualifications Sealed Bids are being solicited by North Country HealthCare, Inc. (“NCHC”) from qualified general contractors, to furnish all labor, material, transportation, and services required to complete an interior remodel of an open storage area at our Flagstaff medical clinic. The project will consist of remodeling an open storage area into an office, stand up workspace and two exam rooms. This consists of the removal of floor coverings, the saw-cutting of the floor slab and the removal of the suspended acoustical ceiling system. The modification of the electrical power and the lighting systems and the mechanical HVAC system. New plumbing and casework is required for the exam room sinks. Special conditions occurs where new partitions abut the existing windows. Construction to be completed by February 2023. The successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts which requires that all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and sub-contractors performing on contracts funded in whole or in part with federal funds in excess of $2,000 pay their laborers and mechanics not less than the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits, as determined by the Secretary of Labor, for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on similar projects in the area. General Contractors wishing to submit bids shall request from Mark Walsh, mwalsh@nchcaz.org an Instructions to Bidders package, which will include a Bid Form and Project Drawings by electronic pdf media. Sealed Bids shall be addressed and delivered to Mark Walsh, North Country HealthCare, 2920 North 4th Street, Flagstaff, Arizona 86004 and will be accepted until 11:00 am June 6, 2022, It is the intent to select a contractor by June 8, 2022. North Country HealthCare reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive or decline to waive irregularities in any response, or to withhold the award for any reason it may determine.
