A SURPRISE FROM A FRIEND INSPIRES HER TO MOVE FORWARD…….
Dear Dr. Bass,
I have been reading your column for over 5 years. I am looking old, saggy, mad and
tired. I know I need the works but I keep seeing newscasters on TV and people in places
I travel that look pulled too tight, look surprised and have no movement to their face.

NOT SURGERY CANDIDATE, NOW WHAT TO DO WITH SAGGY SKIN?
Dear Dr. Bass,

Due to some health issues my primary doc says that I am not a candidate for surgery.
I have been wanting a face/neck lift done and something for my low brows but not sure
what to do now. Is there anything non-surgical that can help my saggy skin?
Ginny D

I know of others who say they just had a facelift and after 3 months look the same.

Hi Ginny,

I just returned from visiting my friend Nancy in Phoenix. She invited me over for the

The face says so much about us. And when we see changes
that occur overtime we can either accept or choose to help
turn the clock best as possible. In the world of aesthetics
the best results are achieved via surgery. However, when
surgery is not a possibility there are always new nonsurgical treatments to help improve unwanted signs of skin
laxity. There is the tried and true muscle relaxers referred
to as neuro modulators like Xeomin, Botox, Dysport, to rid of unwanted activation lines.
Relaxing muscles helps to give a more refreshed, lifted appearance to the forehead, around
the crow’s feet, and angry lines between the brows. To give the skin a tightened and lifted
appearance the Ultherapy laser system for the forehead, face, neck and decolette (upper
chest area) is one of the latest technologies available. After determining those results
it is sometimes beneficial to continue facial lifting using products referred to as facial
fillers. The fillers add volume to an area that may still need additional lifting due to facial
volume loss. Schedule a consultation and we can discuss items specific for you. And these
procedures can be done locally at Flagstaff Face & Body MedSpa. Call 928-226-9355 for
that appointment. Thanks Ginny!
Dr. Bass

Labor Day weekend and said she had a surprise for me. What a surprise when I saw her!
Early July she had her cheeks/neck and forehead procedures and looks 20 years younger,
fresher, natural. And guess who her doctor was…. YOU! You are a master surgeon! I am
calling today to make my appointment. See you soon!
Janet

Hi Janet,
Thank you very much for the compliment! I recently celebrated my 30th Year
as a Plastic Surgeon and my philosophy from day 1 has been to always do
my best and treat my patients as I would want to be treated. My patients,
now friends, come to me asking for a change/improvement in an area of their
body. Together we discuss what procedures would give them the results they
want. I take my time during surgery so the recovery time is short and you get
back to living your life as quickly as possible. I’m happy that Nancy surprised
you and I look forward to working with you to surprise her! Thanks Janet.
