Legal No. 218The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Western Navajo Agency is planning the development of a Cropland Management Plan (CMP) for Land Management District (LMD) 3. The objective of this project is to provide documentation that assesses the impacts of the proposed CMP on LMD 3 throughout approximately 1,030 acres. The documentation will assess environmental impacts on the physical environment (including natural resources, cultural resources, geological resources, water resources, etc.).Public Scoping Meeting Schedule:April 3, 2019 - 4pm - 8pm, Tuba City Chapter House April 4, 2019 - 4pm - 8pm, Coalmine Canyon Chapter HouseApril 5, 2019 - 9am - 4pm, Cameron Chapter House April 6, 2019 - 9am - 4pm, Bodaway/Gap Chapter HouseThe public scoping meetings listed above will provide information regarding the Environmental Assessment process through a short presentation and will allow public comment, both written and verbal, by concerned citizens. A Navajo interpreter will be present throughout each public meeting for translation. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and comment.
