The Northern Arizona University men's basketball program will hold the Lumberjack Coaches Clinic Aug. 3 and 4 at the Rolle Activity Center in Flagstaff. The Lumberjack Coaches Clinic will feature on-court demonstrations as well as chalk talk sessions from some of the top coaches from the NBA, collegiate and prep ranks.

"I think it is important that high school and junior college coaches from around the state have a chance to visit Flagstaff," said head coach Jack Murphy. "It is a great time to visit and talk a little hoop. I have been fortunate in my career to be around some great coaches and have some great friends in the business. They are coming together to support what we are trying to build here at NAU. They are giving back to me on a personal level but I think they are giving back to all the coaches who will attend. We all have a passion for the game of basketball and it is conveyed in many different ways. When we all congregate together is when real learning and sharing gets done."

Among the coaches scheduled to speak: Josh Pastner, Memphis Head Coach; Mike Dunlap, St. John's Associate Head Coach; Jamahl Mosley, Cleveland Cavaliers Assistant Coach; Damon Stoudamire, Memphis Assistant Coach; Chad Iske, Denver Nuggets Assistant Coach; Al LaRocque, Former Coach at Durango High School. NAU Head Coach Jack Murphy and his staff will also participate.

Cost for the two-day event is $50.
