Adding another assortment of honors following their undefeated season culminating in a 2A Conference state title two and a half weeks ago, the Northland Prep girls soccer team filled up the AIA’s all-conference awards list.

In their first year at the helm of the program, co-head coaches Michael Blair and Keith Hovis won conference coach of the year while freshmen Ellie Karren and Mia Blair added more individual awards to their resume. Karren won offensive player of the year, finishing first in the state with 76 points and 32 goals, while Mia Blair came away with the conference’s overall player of the year after finishing second with 75 points and first in assists at 27.

Mia Blair and Karren were joined on the all-conference first team by forward Emma Blair, defender Eleni Papas and forward Brianna Hovis. Finishing on the conference’s second team were defender Delaney Page, midfielder Kiarra Hovis and midfielder Ginger Blodgett.

For the Northland Prep boys soccer team, Joey Haetzen and Zach Martin each earned all-conference honorable mentions.
