Northern Arizona junior libero Anna Gott and freshman middle blocker Sydney Kemper have both been named to the Big Sky Conference Honorable Mention team.
The awards are the first in the careers of both players, who helped the Lumberjacks open the season 12-0 and end the year with 15 wins, equaling the most for the program since 2001.
Gott put together another record-setting year by totaling 465 digs and 4.65 digs per game, which were both the third-highest single-season totals in program history.
In three seasons, Gott has three of the five highest season dig averages in school history, and with 30 digs in NAU's season finale against Northern Colorado, she moved into second place for all-time career digs with 1,305.
Gott averaged 435 digs per season through three years and will need just 245 digs next year to become NAU's all-time digs leader. Gott was also No. 9 in the Big Sky with 0.26 service aces per game and was one of only three Lumberjacks to play in every game of the season.
Kemper was among the most consistent Lumberjacks during her first collegiate season, ranking fifth in the Big Sky with 1.04 blocks per set and eighth with a .256 hitting percentage, both team bests.
Kemper started 22 of 24 matches this season and played in 91 of 96 games, recording multiple blocks in all but two matches for the year. She totaled a season-high nine total blocks against Montana State and had eight solo blocks on the year. She also had eight matches with double-digit kills and was fourth on the team with 228.5 season points.
NAU's pair of All-Big Sky selections equaled the most for the program since 2003.
