All this controversy over the window art work at the Cornish Pasty -- "Window decorating contest draws ire" -- is just another perfect example of radical feminism, the culture of victimization, and political (in)correctness run amok. What has happened to "diversity," "inclusiveness," "respect for artistic expression," "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"? If "Piss Christ" (a crucifix in a container of urine) be considered art, anything can be considered "art"!
Congratulations to Cornish Pasty for having some fun -- long may they serve pasties -- and artist Kathy Darby for her creativity -- long may she paint! And congrats to both of them for standing up for their rights of freedom on expression! Sadly the painting is already gone, a footnote to the history of narrow-minded, doctrinaire feminism, and Wonder Woman warrior extremism. I say "Bah, humbug" to those who would wage war against free speech. Political (in)correctness is, like, a total bummer, man.
So Merry Christmas to all and to all a happy, not so up-tight New Year. Or should I just say a generic "Happy Holidays"? Sure wouldn't want to offend anyone.
