To the editor:
It appears the City of Flagstaff has chosen to add to this country's credit card debt by using a system that does not give one the option of depositing real money in their parking kiosks. Instead they have made it as inconvenient as possible for those of us who wish to by going to the Chamber of Commerce first. Meanwhile, do we lose a parking spot or maybe get ticketed? Furthermore, in this era where even the government is getting hacked, why would I choose to enter my license number or identification?
I, for one, will avoid shopping or dining in any area where these kiosks appear. I have difficulty walking and with this inconvenience these places will not be a destination for me. Unfortunately bus stops are quite a distance from my house.
Perhaps the city should be spending our money to broaden public transport access.
