Flagstaff Police are reporting that the emergency lines within the city are operational. Residents in need of 911 services should not hesitate to call.
Emergency lines in the Grand Canyon and Williams area are still down, but all 911 calls are being transferred to the Flagstaff dispatch center.
8 p.m. Tuesday
The Flagstaff Police Department wants the public to be aware that many 911 lines in and around the State are currently down.
Shortly after 7:00 PM, Century Link advised that a fiber line had been cut.
The impact of this cut is that those calling 911 in certain areas would not be able to get through to various dispatch centers.
Century Link is working to restore the lines.
Citizens are encouraged to use the direct lines to contact the emergency service they are needing. Some of the local numbers are as follows:
Flagstaff Police and Fire: 928-774-1414
Coconino County Sheriff’s Office: 928-774-4523
Guardian medical transport: 928-773-7876
