Prescribed burns

Flagstaff Fire Department in partnership with Coconino County Parks and Recreation managers, conducted a 100-acre prescribed burn at Rogers Lake Natural Area on Monday.

Smoke was expected to impact visitors in the vicinity and to the southwest of Rogers Lake Natural Area. Fire managers coordinate with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality to help reduce smoke impacts to the community.
