William Craig Bennett
Craig or “Nugget,” 32, was a well-respected Journeyman Lineman for the Arizona Public Service. He went to be with the Lord Jesus peacefully in his sleep and of unknown causes in his home in Desert Hills, Arizona on July 16th, 2016. Craig was born October 9th, 1983 in Flagstaff, Arizona and graduated from Sinagua High School. He then attended Mesa Community College completing the Lineman Program. He was a loyal, active and faithful union member of the Local IBEW 387. He met the love of his life and married Andrea Lynn on September 20th, 2014. He loved his family and enjoyed off-roading, dirt bikes, hunting, fishing, camping, and woodworking, as well as showing horses and horsemanship. He was an active and faithful member of the Pure Heart Christian Fellowship in Glendale, Arizona. Craig was so proud when he attained his Journeyman Ticket. His many friends and relatives saw Craig as an excellent husband, amazing father, wonderful son, loving and caring grandson, magnificent brother and loyal friend. He enjoyed living in Joseph City, Snowflake, Flagstaff and Desert Hills, all in Arizona. Three words sum up his life: “Loyal, Loving, Rockstar.” He is survived by his wife, Andrea Lynn, child, Brock Kevin, parents, William Alan Bennett (Stef), Shonna Elaine Willingham (Rod), siblings, Chris Bennett (Bre), Rebecca Willingham, Delilah Hull (David), Sarah Peterson (Matt), Daniel Ledford (Ana), grandfather, Bill G. Bennett, grandmother, Elaine Pogue. Craig was preceded in death by grandmother, Juanita Bennett, grandfather, George Pogue, and great-grandma, Margaret Cahoon. There will be a memorial service and reception with lunch supplied by APS at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 30th, 2016 at Pure Heart Christian Fellowship, 14240 N 43rdAve, Glendale, AZ 85306. The officiant will be Pastor Dan Steffen.
