Will Ed Duncan, Jr., April 2, 1941 – October 24, 2017

In his 76 years, Will Ed Duncan, Jr. served others all over the world.   He left his native Douglas, Arizona to serve for 22 years in the Air Force, including time in Asia, Europe, Africa, and at the Pentagon.  Ever industrious, he earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology while serving in the military.  He and his wife, Sandy (Parchman 1943-1998), brought their three children, Kim Duncan, Aaron Duncan (Noni), and Holly Duncan Golightly (Scott) to make their home in Flagstaff, and for the next 27 years, Will led the Walgreens Distributions Center team until his retirement in 2009.  Three months after retirement, Will and his wife, Jeannie (Simpson) became expatriates based in Papua, Indonesia and together visited 30 countries.  Will’s amazing photography from his life’s travels tell an artist’s story of curiosity and multi-cultural respect and appreciation.

Will is survived by his sister, Jeanette Larned (Lloyd), three amazing kids, four talented and value-centered grandchildren (Tyler Michael, Madilyn Kay, Brooke Olivia, and Ella Grace Golightly) and his wife, Jeannie.

The family welcomes friends to join a celebration of Will’s life on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at their Flagstaff home between 1:00pm and 5:00pm.  Memorials may be mailed to Compassus Hospice in memory of Will Duncan, 1000 N. Humphreys, Suite 220, Flagstaff, AZ, 86001 with gratitude for helping Will and his family approach end of life at home.
