David Michael Sanchez, 36, passed away suddenly in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 20, 2017. He was born in Tucson, Arizona, on January 20, 1981.  David was raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, where he attended Weitzel Elementary, East Flagstaff Junior High, and Coconino High School. He later dedicated his life to honorably serving in the United States Army for seven years, to include assignments in Texas and overseas in South Korea. Following his military service, David resided in Phoenix, Arizona, where he worked to obtain a mechanic degree in December of 2016. 

                                                                

David was a loving son, brother and father who will be remembered for his unforgettable smiles and laughter.  He will be sorely missed and forever remembered by his family.  David is survived by his loving mother Carmen (Richard) Morris; father, John Sanchez; three children: Camron, Kailee, and Kaden Sanchez; sister, Andrea Sanchez; brother, John (Patricia) Sanchez Jr.; a niece, multiple nephews, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. David is preceded in death by his grandparents, Benito and Maria Nuñez.

Services will be held on November 13, 2017, at San Francisco de Asis Church.  A rosary will be held at 10:00 am, followed by a mass at 11:00 am, and a burial with military honors at Citizens Cemetery.  A gathering for friends and family will follow at the San Francisco de Asis Church; food and refreshments will be provided.
