Brandon J. Honhongva, 22, passed away on September 29, 2011. He was born March 1, 1989, in Phoenix. Brandon lived the majority of his life in Flagstaff and spent a lot of time on the Hopi reservation. He graduated from Coconino High school and was enrolled at Coconino Community College. He also worked part-time at Wuptaki National Park.

Burial took place on September 30, 2011, in the village of Bacavi on the Hopi reservation.

Survivors include his Parents, Fred and Doris Honhongva, Brother, Brian and Sister-In -Law, Donica Honhongva, friend, Charlotte Charley, maternal grandmother, Dorcie Ahownewa, Uncle Riley Ahownewa, Paternal Grandparents, James and Lois Honhongva, Aunt Harriet Setella, Uncle Ralph Honhongva, and many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Honhongva Family accounts at Well Fargo Bank. Brandon was expecting his first child in the spring. The funds will be used for his child.

The Family would like to thank everyone who came to support the family during this difficult time.
