The Dew Downtown event is likely again for February 2014, the Flagstaff City Council decided Tuesday night.
Members of the City Council were split over whether to keep the event on San Francisco Street or move it elsewhere, and whether it should have a three-year permit.
City Manager Kevin Burke said he plans to offer bids for others to take over the event.
Two nearby business owners attended to speak in opposition to the ski and snowboard festival, citing noise, frequency of disruptive events, and impact to their business.
