VOLUNTEERS FROM THE COCONINO AMATEUR RADIO CLUB, Coconino Astronomical Society and Lowell Observatory Director Jeff Hall helped out Kaci Heins' sixth-grade science class at Northland Preparatory Academy. They had eight telescopes with white light and hydrogen alpha filters. This allowed students to see sun spots and solar prominences.
