A 46-year-old Flagstaff woman suspects that her ex-boyfriend stole $49,900 worth of jewelry from her before he left town.

A police report taken on Feb. 25 stated that the woman had recently broken up with her boyfriend, who left town without telling her. She later noticed that her jewelry box had been raided. Reported missing was a heart-shaped three-carat diamond ring valued at $40,000, a 22-inch 14-carat necklace with a 14-carat female pendant worth $1,500, a 14-carat gold tennis bracelet valued at $2,500 and an 18-carat gold Russian braided bracelet.

Police have been unsuccessful in contacting the suspect and have not received a response from the victim the last several times they have contacted her.
