A 24-year-old Flagstaff woman has been arrested on assault charges after she allegedly threw her mother into a computer table following an argument.

According to a police report, officers arrived at the home Thursday and found the front door open. Inside, the home was in disarray, with a computer on the ground and items strewn about.

A young girl was hiding behind a bed cradling a small dog. A woman then told police her daughter had gotten out of control after she confronted her about providing alcohol to a recovering alcoholic who also lived in the home. The daughter responded by yelling and throwing her mother.

The woman was booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility on charges of assault, disorderly conduct and failure to comply.

Charged with DUI

Sean Patrick Chischilly, 29, of 1804 E. Mountain View Avenue, was arrested by Flagstaff police and charged with extreme DUI at about 10:15 p.m. Thursday.

City and county residents who want to report a crime but wish to remain anonymous may call Silent Witness at 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Rewards of up to $2,000 are given for information that leads to an arrest.

What, do they have dirt floors? If not, shouldn't this be "on the floor" instead?
