A Doney Park man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison and a lifetime of probation for taking dozens of nude cell phone photos of a sleeping 10-year-old girl last summer.

Christopher Salabye Jr., 28, was sentenced by Judge Dan Slayton yesterday in Coconino County Superior Court after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors. Salabye Jr. was accused of using his cell phone to take pictures of the girl while she was staying at his home during a sleepover.

Following the June 2012 incident, Salabye Jr. told a Coconino County Sheriff's Office investigator that he had photographed the girl about 25 times, according to a Sheriff's office report.

According to a complaint filed by prosecutors, Salabye Jr. "... knowingly recorded, filmed, photographed, developed or duplicated a visual depiction in which a minor is engaged in exploitive exhibition or other sexual conduct."
