A power outage affected about 3,000 customers on the westside of Flagstaff this morning after the wind knocked down a line behind the Bed Bath and Beyond on South Plaza Way, according to APS.

It took about 45 minutes to get power restored. Traffic was backed up in places on South Milton Road, as some traffic lights were out in the area.

Power was out from South Milton Road west to Woody Mountain Road, and from Interstate 40 north to East Route 66, officials said.

The wind also downed a tree in Munds Park, causing a second power outage. Only a few residents were affected.
