The Flagstaff Unified School District has called a snow day today.
According to the district's website, the snow day was called due to the current road conditions in some areas of Flagstaff.

- Flagstaff Junior Academy
- Northland Preparatory Academy
Highways that were closed Sunday night have now reopened. Highway 89A between Sedona and Interstate 17 has been reopened after being closed Sunday night and early Monday morning due to heavy snow and ice on the pavement.
I-17 between State Route 179 and Flagstaff was closed for much of Sunday evening but later was reopened.
The Department of Transportation says it had nearly 80 snowplows working to clear northern Arizona highways.
The forecast from the National Weather Service calls for more snow today and tonight. Another 2 to 4 inches of snow are possible today, with another inch of snow possible for tonight.
Flagstaff had received a two-day total of 10.6 inches of snow as of 7 p.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Bellemont. The heaviest bands of snow showers have moved out of the Flagstaff region and over the eastern Mogollon Rim.
Sunny skies are expected Tuesday.
