Chelsea will discuss with us several projects  that the Friends of the Rio’s are working on;

1) The Rio de Flag Flood Control Project Design with City of Flagstaff Community Development Department staff

2) Proposal for submission to the Flagstaff Open Space, Parks, and Recreation Campaign

3) Environmental Protection Agency announced Tuesday that it will award an Environmental Justice Small Grant to the Friends of the Rio de Flag. The grant is for up to $30,000 and will be used on a project titled “Helping Under-served Residents in Flagstaff Understand and Plan for the Future of their River and Watershed.”

Please join us for an informative evening learning about our local watershed and other environmental activities going on  across the region.  We are always looking for volunteers to get ACTIVE with us!!
